Founded in the 19th century by Hermine de Voss, a wealthy merchant’s daughter, the premises was originally a destination for ill children to recuperate in the 1920s. In the 1940s, Stenum became known as a specialized rehabilitation center for Tuberculosis patients, with a special „sunshine sanatorium“. Eventually, in 1971, the hospital became a specialized clinic for orthopedics. As holder of the KTQ Certification, Fachklinik für Orthopädie Stenum is committed to quality and the highest standards of care.
Today, more than a thousand international patients have placed their trust in the hands of our skilled surgeons.
